Our Story, Your Style
What started as a fun side project quickly grew into a brand. I’m Nat, a full-time creative who loves to design, build, and make just about anything artsy or crafty. While working my full-time job and running Nat’s Decor & More, a good friend unexpectedly asked if I wanted to invest in a DTF printer and create shirts for local businesses. I decided to take the chance, and I ended up loving the process. After a while, though, printing the same business logos became a little repetitive, and I found myself wanting more room to create. That is when I decided to build a T-shirt brand of my own, and just like that, NASTEE was born. I love bringing new designs to life, but seeing someone proudly wearing something I created is even better.
You may notice a daisy featured throughout many of the NASTEE logos, emblems, and monograms. That daisy represents my dog, Daisy, who is truly the light of my life and, honestly, the one who runs the house. The brand’s color palette of sage, antique gold, charcoal, and ivory was inspired by my love for nature, warmth, and timeless design. The botanical leaves was created to resemble an olive branch, symbolizing peace, hope, prosperity, wisdom, and life.
So, where did the name NASTEE come from? It is a playful twist on one of my longtime nicknames, “Nasty.” It’s a long story, and definitely not what you think, but the nickname stuck. While I was developing the brand, one of my brother’s friends suggested NASTEE, a clever play on “Nat’s Tees.” It felt personal, memorable, and perfectly unexpected. After all, NASTEE has never been your average tee.
